Mom of Stevie B, Aunt to Mel and Drake, cousin to Chuck
I am a Mother who has lost her child. This
is the most difficult journey I have ever faced in my life. My son, Stevie B, age 33 died in a car accident in February
of 2007. Our family has faced so many losses. We have lost four of our young people in the last few years.
It's not a path I want others to take, but I want to be a source of help if others face the loss of a child of any
age.

On May
8, 2004 my life was changed forever when my oldest son, Mel, called to tell me his 5 year old son, Drake was killed in a traffic
accident. Six weeks later, our 34 year old cousin, Chuck, died as a result of an accident at work. On June 30, 2006 I
received a phone call that my son, Mel, died of an accidental drug overdose. The following February my nephew, Stevie, died
in a car accident. These tradegies have filled our lives with unimaginable pain. Our hope is to find something positive and
to help other families reduce their trauma by even the tiniest fraction as they walk this lonely journey. You can contact
